This styled session organized by Sarah Elizabeth Photography was so much fun. When you first pulled up at Nutwood plantation you are immediately taken back to a time when life would have been much simpler. Built in 1833 she still seems modern. The 200 year old Pecan Trees are full of life and give so much shade. The light here was beyond stunning. Working with this adorable couple was a breath of fresh air. They really connected with each other. Teasing us photographers with sweet almost kisses and adorable secrets. The connection Jessica made with the camera was exactly what I wanted to capture for my portfolio.
I really think I worked extra hard on my attention to detail. Detail work is not my best but I challenged myself to really overthink it since I had time. I also worked with my surroundings much more than I would in a typical timed wedding; which taught me that I should definitely go for it all the time. Overall I'm happy with what I came out with and I want to share it with my clients and Fans.
You will notice that the images are very clean and crisp. I'm aiming to capture something timeless and vibrant for my wedding clients. However I do also offer a moody look and will be blogging the difference at a later time. It may be a completely different look but it's still me. I am both moody and colorful! I try to base it on my clients personality.
Thank you again Sarah for putting together an awesome shoot! Had a blast can't wait til Sunday!
